Welcome!

Welcome to AdjustSails
This is just the beginning of a blog where I can track the things that I do to arrive at the success I’m looking for. It’s all about adjusting my outlook, my thoughts, the way I think and the habits I have. It’s all about how I’m going to create success in my life and bless the lives of others.
As the quote by William Arthur Ward puts it: “The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.”
I am learning to adjust my sails to try to ride the wind where I want to go.
Who am I?
My goals
Yikes, this is asking a lot. I will just talk about my business goal right now. This is filling my mind and really motivating me. My business goal is to figure out how to create new income streams in my life. I am a software developer turning businessman. I watch closely at the startup I work at and I’m learning a LOT. Both what I should and shouldn’t do. I am also reading a lot of books about business (you’ll see reviews and quotes in my posts). My goal is to keep working, but not have to.
What you’ll find here
Here are some of the things that as of today, I think I’ll be bringing you.
- Book reviews and my notes (i.e. copying in my favorite quotes so the I don’t forget them).
- Technical things: Maybe some code or AI prompt or something now and then.
- Uplifting quotes from religious people or business people.
- Technical Resources that I want a place to store.
- Links to inspirational or technical resources
- Business ideas and what I’ve done with them.
Why a blog?
- Gives me a place that I can record awesome stuff and quickly find it.
- Sometimes I just feel like writing but I don’t really know where I should put it.
- Allows to me to have an outlet when I need to write something out or a way to show my thanks to God for something he has inspired me with.
- Keeps me accountable to others. Hopefully by knowing that people are watching, I’ll post more frequently.
What business ideas are you working on? Send me a message on twitter and let me know.
