In order to attract opt-ins to their website, GMB Fitness uses a variety of mini-programs that teach about specific fitness topics their audience is interested in. Their free subscribers receive access to a “members area” that contains about a dozen free video resources that are tightly coupled with their paid products.
Fossett informed me that the most effective opt-ins scratch a specific itch. For example, their customers couldn’t care less about content that teaches them how ot stretch properly. However, if they package stretching instruction videos around an ailment that stretching solves, such as painful mobility, readers will sign up for those opt-ins in much greater numbers
